He had a great turn as the radio show foil Simon Brimmer in the shortlived series Ellery Queen in the early 70s too. Not to mention him in Blazing Saddles as Howard Johnson. Great actor! RIP.Comment

He was great on Magnum. I always assumed Higgins was really Robin Masters, even as a kid.
And Blazing Saddles is in my top 5 movies, so kudos for that too. He was so laconically funny in that.

Bummer, he played his character Higgins very well, a Texan doing an English accent and from what I understand he was quite the jokester off camera during the Magnum days. RIP.Comment
