It occurred to me that some of you guys might appreciate this: for years I have been gathering pieces for a 1975 Rollerball costume, and I finally completed a rough version of it to wear this Halloween...

I lost the costume contest at work to 3 store-bought weak effort costumes (not bitter at all!), but made up for it at a club event later that night by winning first place:

The costume is a mix of the movie poster look and the actual movie look. In the future I hope to make it even more screen-accurate, particularly on the helmet.
