Question about Super 3 MOTU 3 3/4" figures

Had a question about the Masters of the universe 3 3/4" figures from Super 7. I see wave 1 consisted of 4 figures. However I see that wave 2 seems to have the same four figures from wave 1 (in addition to a few new ones). Am I missing something? Was wave 1 some limited exclusive and wave 2 with the same 4 is more for the masses? Going from pics they look the same (He-man, Skeletor, Beastman and Merman). Was there something different about the wave 1 versions? Possibly looking into picking these up and wanted to be certain before ending up double dipping

The wave 1 repacks were slight repaints that were closer to the original toy colors.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Thanks. They look extremely close to begin with. Will start the collection with Wave 2.

I'd love to collect these but my local comic shop sells for $25 a piece which to me seems ridiculous for this scale. I'd grab em for fifteen each with no shipping.

I'm behind on these. The shipping kills it at $15 each. But I love them.

Sorry for the long quote, but here is some promising news from the Super7 facebook page.
I would imagine that anything that's currently in stock could show up at a participating FYE.
I might at least be worth a call to see if your local store is on the list.
Not sure if FYE will stick w/ suggested retail, but I would have to imagine they'll be cheaper than ordering online and having them shipped.

Super7 is happy to announce our partnership with FYE is now in 29 of their stores in the U.S.. Each of these stores has a Super7 curated section featuring a selection of our toys, drinkware, and apparel! The Super7 section can be found at the FYE locations in these cities:

They are neat! I like the cards as much as the figures. The figures would be a bit more attractive to me if they were, at least, as possible as the 1982 RAH Joes...the 1983 RAH Joes, at most.

Check your favorite overseas Ebay sellers. They have loose figures with no weapons for usually $10.

Saw these at FYE over the weekend. Very tempted! The cards were pretty beaten though, and I may honestly want these left ON the cards, even though I normally don't do that anymore. They are gorgeous and so very-much of the 70s/80s.
