Haven't been to Katz's since the 90's --- I gotta go to the city more often

Can't throw a rock without hitting a deli around these parts so i'm pretty satisfied.

BTW, want a great pickle ? .... don't go to a deli ... Just go to your supermarket and buy a jar of Claussen hearty garlic wholes.

Sometime try their pickled green tomatoes or sweet peppers

Horseradish is good too ---- (especially love the one with beets)

I’m going to order the pastrami, rye loaf, and their mustard...then down the line, other meats.

I've also eaten at Katz', thought it was a good long while ago. The food is good, but a lot of "proper" traditional delis are as good - where Katz' has the edge is the experience.

Have them throw a couple slices of everything out the window of the plane when they're about halfway between NY and CA. I'll stand outside.

$32 for one pound of Pastrami is very pricey...so when I order mine...don't expect Katz's sized sandwiches from me...mine will be much thinner, I'll make mine last...

Think Katz makes their own pastrami so they can afford to give generous portions.

At $8.00 lb+ at my local supermarket it doesn't fly out the deli counter

Man, yet another reason to visit New York. My favorite place to get some killer pastrami here is at Langer’s Delicatessen. They've been clogging up arteries since 1947. #19 is the way to go.
