      Happy Halloween

Speaking of scary I have a question for you all

When I was growing up back in the 70's the scary hour at night was always known as between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM

Seems lately the scary hour has been moved to 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM

The only thing I can trace this back to was Amityville Horror --- is this true ? .... Did one movie change the scary hour ?

I've never heard of "scary hour" before. I've heard of the "witching hour".

3:00 AM - 4:00 AM is definitely my "scary hour" since I have to get up for work by 4.

I did a Haunted House in my carport last night. Did not have time to photo everything before it opened, so took these this morning before I started tearing it down. Got all of it this year. In order from entry to exit.

            Skeleton Dragon from Big Lots.

            umping Spider from Spirit.

Black Widow from Lowe's. Don't like her hair so have a wig I will use for her.

            Gargoyle from Big Lots.

Zombie from Spirit with another Gargoyle next to it.

Table props. Ghostly Mirror from Lowe's, Striking Snake from Party City.

            2 9' long tablecloths from Larry's Hobby's, a baking supply type store.

2 Ghouls from Family Dollar, Bride and Groom.

Mr. Bones from Michael's was already 60% last week.

Animated Lighted Hanging Ghost from Lowe's

Talking Scarecrow from Big Lots. Sorry about the lighting, they did a really good job on his burlap face.

            Limb Ripper from Spirit.

Pumpkinhead Scarecrow from Joe Sams, lights, moves, talks and fogs.
The really cool thing was that most of them responded to sound which meant they fed off of each other all night, actually scaring away some teens and adults.
