Rock 'N Roll - G.I. Joe
In 1982 Hasbro released Series One of their G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero 3 3/4" action figure line, Rock 'N Roll was the team's machine gunner and one of my favorite figures of that original series as a kid. The thought of making a Mego version of Rock 'N Roll didn't take shape until 8 Inch Super Store was selling bearded and clean shaven Action Jackson heads a couple of years ago. I saw the blonde bearded head and I instantly thought of Rock 'N Roll.
ROCK 'N ROLL:
HEAD - Bearded blonde AJ head from 8 Inch Super Store.
BODY - Doc Swivel Bicep
FATIGUES - Tailored by me, sewn together by my wife.
BOOTS - CTVT with my paints.
AMMO BELTS - Magnificent Team figures with my paints.
BELT - Magnificent Team figure (same one that donated one of the ammo belts).
M-60 - 21st Century Toys 1/6 scale weapon.
HELMET - EMCE/Diamond Steve Rogers costume from the original Captain America set.
BOX - Designed and assembled by me.
