Brazillian GI Joe returns from Estrela

This is kind of neat, the Brazilian company behind Falcon, those incredibly cool GI Joe figures started doing limited edition versions of classic figures. I wish it was the Sci Fi line and not the adventure stuff but maybe if it's a hit we'll get more?

The sci-fi line was pretty high on my list of wants. I think i just got tired of searching and coming up empty. Theyre something I'd gladly buy repros of.

That's really cool what they are doing. It's not just Gi Joe they are reissuing several popular toys (like Giggles and Strawberry Shortcake) for their 80th anniversary.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Ebay never happens, you have to "know a guy" it seems. I managed to get two figures from a guy for a reasonable price and he delivered but i stupidly lost his info.

Folks are really excited about these on the 12" Joe forum I visit. It seems the quality will be nicer than that of the HobbyCrash Geyperman Spanish reissues.

I would encourage North American fans to get these from Cotswold Collectibles--they are a great company with terrific customer service and much better pricing than ebay.

? Except for larger packages that require UPS, they use USPS Priority shipping, which seems to me reasonable considering their isolated location.

I love the Adventure Team line, but I have plenty of Adventure Team Joe stuff.

Yeah that's my issue with Reproductions normally. If you're patient you can get sweet deals on original AT stuff, even boxed items. I have lots of good scores.

But original Falcon stuff is impossible and expensive, so i'm tempted.

I think they use Overnight Shipping now. I believe they did away with the minimum of having to buy $25. I tried buying a replacement pair of KFG Hands and the total was around $30.

I really like the sci-fi Falcon figures but I never see them (well, except for Brian's, lucky guy!). I'd be down for repros of those ones.
