It occurred to me that we have a reversal of situations since the 80's, when Mattel held the Marvel license, and Kenner held the DC license.
Now, it's the opposite. Can you just imagine for a moment if these two companies expanded their past toy lines with new figures? Mattel could make DC figures in the Secret Wars mold, and Hasbro could make Marvel Super Powers style figures.
Nothing crazy, just a dozen or so figures on each side. They would each make a FORTUNE with collectors.
It would be the most amazing thing EVER.
Who here wouldn't buy a Super Powers Captain America with shield slinging action? A Super Powers Iron Man with repulsor blast action? A Secret Wars Batman with secret shield?
