When watching movies on CometTV be prepared for heavy editing

Was watching Thunderbirds Are Go the other day and they completely cut out the Cliff Richard song -- which was the best part imo

Man, I miss the TBS/TNT days when they would run blocks starting at 5 on weekdays.
Yeah, I think that's where I saw some of those Hammers for the first time. Curse of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula, in particular. Maybe Curse of the Werewolf.

Comet has some insanely LONG commercial breaks. I forgot what I was watching they took such a long break during MST3K.

It's funny a lot of these movies I love and I don't own because they get played every Halloween and I watch them. I think I watch the first Dark Shadows movie once a year along with the Blacula series.....

^Me too. My DVR is FULL of TCM's October lineup from the past 5 or so years. I will sometimes forget I have them stored, and when I try to set a timer, it blocks me! I know I have the first Blacula, but I don' think I have the second...

I still have "Scream, Blacula Scream" on VHS because it was "rare" at the time and my collector OCD refuses to let it go.

^Great line-up. I have all of these on DVD, but I'm glad they are getting some exposure. More Hammer Draculas this coming Sunday, and later in the week there's that Joan Fontaine-starring voodoo film whose name escapes me. I haven't seen that one yet, so it's set for the DVR.

The Reptile doesn't have the usual list of Hammer stars, but was released on a double bill with Rasputin the Mad Monk starring Christopher Lee.

I really like The Reptile, some nice subtexts in that film, much more successful than The Gorgon imo.

The Joan Fontaine vehicle you're thinking of is The Witches/The Devil's Own.

^That's it. The generic titles escaped me. TCM is calling it The Devil's Own. I've never seen that one.
