I'd also like a Frogman Spider-man, in the Fishing set.

Fisherman Spidey could provide some nice custom fodder for Aqua-foes.

Would sell like hotcakes! Make it happen DST! Much better and deserving figure than Iron Man

So we got fisherman Spidey with hip waders and the hat covered in lures, yacht captain Spidey and frogman Spidey.

Man, I know I would buy that set!!

I want the boxed figure to be the frogman.

Is there a simple "retro Mego" style Deadpool in the pirate set, or just 3 more modern styled costumes? Have they moved away from the original concept or is this variant just an exception to the rule?

Aw, just being a little silly about things. It's more entertaining than anger.

I really want a Warlock set. The Gil Kane first outfit, the first Starlin outfit and the Magus. Next I want a Doctor Strange set with the classic red and yellow cape, the masked version and modern version. Of course theirs a lot more a want too. Blade, Iron Fist, Powerman, Vision, Doctor Doom, and Falcon just to name a few.

I hear what you say - but I cannot make any comments at this time.

I'm glad to see that most people understand that the "$80 one character" rule
came from Hasbro/Marvel not from DST. We would love to be making 40 figures
                            at $20.00 each.

Nothing is over - I am working hard, but I can't give details....yet.

I completely understand it. Doesn't change the fact that it was an incredibly foolish and short sighted decision on their part. Marvel is literally leaving money on the table while FTC laughs all the way to the bank. The current formula would have worked better had the package contained three identical figures in different packaging. How about a box set of three Mego Spider-Mans...one in a box, one on a classic Mego card, and one on a Kresge card for $75? Then they could make any character they wanted, and collectors could easily keep and/or break up the sets and easily sell any unwanted packaging variants.

I can't see that as appealing at all, packaging variants more appealing than figure variants? No.
