One of the best lines in 40 Year Old Virgin to me has to be "Is that the Six Million Dollar Man's Boss?" as he looks at the Oscar Goldman Mego. RIP to a great character actor.

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Decades TV rebroadcast the final episode of The Fugitive in which he appeared as Richard Kimble's brother-in-law the other night. Rest in peace to a great actor.

I remember him from westerns. Ironically, The Big Valley, with Lee Majors among others. He and Deforest Kelly had their share of western characters before the genre bowed to sci fi, and everything went the Star Wars way.

                  RIP

C'mon dude we are toy geeks here.

I've been on a six mil kick the past 2 months. I must of seen over 20 episodes. It's surreal to be watching Oscar a few days ago then finding out he passed away. One thing his character did was he anyways called Steve Pal is a insincere way. That's something a boss would do.

It's funny you should compare the two. If Anderson was unavailable, Deforest could have played Oscar.

TV's coolest boss? Probably. A stern but compassionate authority figure, before they all became corrupt, etc. He played it very well. RIP.

R.I.P. Met him at the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention 2 years ago and it was cool to get to meet him. At the the time I did feel bad because it's a very long show day and at 89 there were times he was than comfortable. Now I'm just glad to have met hiom and appreciate it more than he was able to deal with the times of discomfort to do the appearance.
