Acrylic Case or Clamshell? Which do you prefer?

Looking for some input/opinions on MOC Mego storage.

Currently, I have my carded figures in clamshells. They are quit a bit cheaper and they're certainly better than the ziplock bags I was using years ago.

But the clamshell bubble is about twice as big as needed. I have my collection stored in treasury size boxes and I'm at capacity now. Plus, the clamshells don't stay clipped together at the bottom and the card can slide around in the shell.

The acrylic cases are definitely more of an investment. But it seems like the figure would be more secure inside the acrylic case. And the width is closer to that of the figure so I would actually have more room to add figures in the boxes I have now.

In your experience, which do you prefer for storing higher-grade carded figures? What have you found to be the pros and cons of each?

    Thanks for the input.

Acrylic Cases by far. To me this is a no brainer.

Pros - perfect fit. No rattling around and you maximize space.
Cons - price. Good ones from Oscar can run $15-20 each.

In fact, I just bought 4 news ones. 3 for regular cards and one for my Palitoy Hulk.
