Plaid Stallions Super Friends go all Galactic!

My pal Chris found this toy hunting recently, I don't know it's origins but I know it's probably from 1978.

it kind of reminds me about how "Galactic" the Super Friends got during this period in time, it seemed like every week they were in space fighting a guy with a "laser sword".

Anybody know where this is from?

    I love that!

It's interesting to see how much "Star Wars" was influencing everything else. Those troops are more than a little reminiscent of Stormtroopers just as the fighters are of X-Wings.

Looks like it may be the cover of a British annual or a coloring book. I love it!!!

Superman is a lift from that classic Murphy Anderson cover circle image, and Wonder Woman looks like she's a swipe from Jose Delbo, who drew the book forever in the late 70s/early 80s. Batman, I'm not sure, but I dig the yellow interior on the cape. Very Yvonne Craig!

Got the answer, it's from a (really nice) Batman poster set from 1978

I just love everything about this. The colors, the painting style, the influences.
