    Vampire 1979 TV movie

I was looking for another Dracula TV movie and i found this forgotten film. Richard Lynch as a modern day vampire, worth a look.

Richard Lynch always a made a great villain, and this was one of his best roles.

I have it. Great movie too. The 70's was a great time for TV monster movies.

I've been on a TV horror flick kick, so I'm adding this to the list.

Yes, it seemed open-ended in that respect.

I also liked the Michael Nouri Dracula segment of Cliffhangers around the time of this film, too.

That was really good and yay someone else remembers it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

This seems vaguely familiar. Probably caught it in syndication one Saturday afternoon in the mid-80s.

I loved Cliffhangers! and was sorely disappointed when they took it off without wrapping up the other two (admittedly weaker) segments of the show.

I remember being scared spitless by this movie. No blood, gore, or excessive nudity; scary as heck and great use of San Francisco for the scenery. Richard was at his absolute best here.

Have you seen "Don't Go To Sleep" from 1982?
Holy cow was that crazy! Possibly the darkest tv movie I've ever seen!

I watched it a week or so ago. Awesome stuff!

I've watched Dark Night of the Scarecrow (this one got to me as a kid), Summer of Fear (Wes Craven flick with Linda Blair), All the Kind Strangers (Stacy Keach, Samantha Eggar, Robby Benson), Mazes and Monsters (anti-D&D movie with Tom Hanks), Something Evil (Spielberg flick with Darren McGavin and Sandy Dennis, this had some creepy moments), I Saw What You Did (cheesy '90s flick with Shawnee Smith!! and Robert and John Carradine), Blackout (this was an early HBO movie, with Keith Carradine!). Was gonna give Burnt Offerings another look before it leaves Prime.

There's a bunch of other ones I need to see, too. Man, I used to love being creeped out by those films!
