Defenders (Spoiler Free)

So i devoured it this Friday and finished it on Saturday morning.

All in all, I really liked it. Eight episodes was a good choice, didn't feel padded and it clicked along.

The weakest link is still Iron Fist, I'm just not into the choice for that character and he's written as such a dope. Also, the left over villain from that series, Bakuto is just a terrible actor, the guy isn't convincing at all. I cringed at his every word.

Other than the last two fight scenes being a tad dark, it was an interesting and pretty satisfying conclusion.

I'd really forgotten how much i liked Jessica Jones......

Only eight episodes? Good to know! I'd given up on checking out the Netflix Marvel shows, as even the best of them felt stretched and stuffed by 5-6 hours.

She's the best character...and Jessica Jones is my favorite show of the lot.

Oh, and I agree on the Iron Fist character, he's definitely the weak link. I was begging to the gods to cast Tom Hardy as Iron Fist...the gods hate me, lol.

I'm only into episode 2 so far, I'm digging it.

Netflix marvel aren't my favorite I usually watch them to be a completist. I'm a bigger fan of the 70's defenders I have a run of over 30 issues but I'll keep an open mind and I like that there is 8 episodes instead 13. A certain Alien star is the main baddie in this, that will make Hector happy.

I binged them all this weekend. Danny Rand doesn't bother me nearly as much as he seems to bother others. There were times where I thought things bogged down a little, but overall I loved it. The lone surprise for me was how much less invincible Luke Cage seemed this time around.

Yup...Perfect Amount...I didn't feel exhausted binge watching this like I did the other Series.

Enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing what happens next to ALL the Characters.

It was cool seeing the characters interact, but otherwise, this ... wasn't very good. The Hand never seemed very threatening, and Weaver in particular was wasted. C-

Hated how the writers took such a strong character and turned her into just another damsel in distress by the end of her season on Daredevil, though.
