    RIP Sonny Landham

Too bad he was half-nuts. The guy should have had bigger career. He should've dominated voice work like Clancy Brown or been a Michael Mann regular.

Underrated perfomance is in Best of The Best 2.

RIP! I am not overly familiar with him outside of the movie roles. what was he doing that you say he was half nuts?

Legendary drinker and bar fighter. Classic story is how he had to have his own security on Predator to make sure he didn't die during shooting when he was off the set. That makes you uninsurable for movie bonds.

Billy from Predator, he was pretty memorable...he went out like a boss...

I also liked him in 48 Hrs...

What a shame! I always liked him. While I did like him in "Predator," I loved him in "48 Hours." That was when Eddie Murphy was really at the top of his game! Also, Sonny was good in "Southern Comfort." The tag-line said it all: "It is the land of hospitality, unless you don't belong." Just a great film!

I think he would've made a pretty darn good Conan...

Damnit. I was just watching him TODAY. In 48 Hrs.

                  Bless! RIP.

He looked good in movies, but very "volatile" in real life. His bodyguards on the Predator set were there to protect the rest of the cast from Landham.

His character in PREDATOR made me think a lot of Wolverine. He probably would've actually made a pretty damn good Wolvie, too, just a little to temperamental and a bit too much of a diva. Still, his passage is sad. RIP, sir...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
