Wonder what the deal is with Supes' cape?

Looks like Superman's cape goes around the neck and not stiched on to the shoulders, interesting.

^Hard to tell but it looks like they somehow swapped how the capes go on Supes and Bats. Bats looks like he's got the stitched cape. Might be the angle of the picture.
