Flash Gordon: Dr. Zarkov's Ship by Castaway Toys

I'm not sure when this toy was made, so I put it in Classic Toys.

Nice! I love Flash Gordon toys and space ship toys, so this is a double winner for me.

What do you consider real small, Mikey?

I used to collect garage made lead miniatures back in the 80's.

Most were between 1" to like 3" long.

They were usually comprised of 2 - 4 parts that were easily super-glued together.

This Flash Gordon ship super reminds me of them in style.

Very cool. Do you still have any of them today? Would love to see pics.

The ship is 3 1/4" and made of wood. Lots of detail for such a small piece.

Unfortunately sold all mine off in the late 90's

Got a good price for them at the time --- guessing the peeps that bought mine liked the paint jobs.

From what I can remember I had Fireball XL5, Stingray, C-57D, Supercar, ...and a few more

^Castaway released some of the GoHero figures under their brand as well.

The proposed 8" Buster Crabbe Flash figure from Castaway was based on the 12" version. Unfortunately, it never came to be.
