    Superman's mustache

Some of this stuff is just hilarious, including this video:

But seriously Paramount, just let the poor guy SHAVE!!!

As we reported yesterday, news of expensive "Justice League" movie reshoots were overshadowed by reports that the mustache Henry Cavill has grown for his role in "Mission Impossible 6" is causing problems for his role as Superman, with Paramount Studios unwilling to allow him to shave off the facial hair to film the additional scenes

OK, that was freakin' hil-hair-ious! Loved the glowing, heat-vision 'stache, but the guest-starring 'stache was the absolute killer!

I was reading about this and who'd'a think a little plot of facial hair could create headlines? LOL! I've heard they're actually doing the reshoots with said 'stache in place and will simply digitally erase it in post. Problem solved.

Bigger question seems to be is Whedon simply directing some reshoots or did WB enlist him to reshoot entire sequences? I read somewhere he's filming more "connective" scenes because apparently it was a bit disjointed...

^That's the official line, but $25 million in reshoots? Sounds a bit more than just "connective tissue".

Also, I think this may just be a link to Superman's new secret identity. With his Clark Kent persona lost after BvS, Supes continues his career in journalism, and becomes a certain Anchorman...

To be fair $19 million will be digitally removing that mustache. I say write into the plot, with the entire league going "So...uh...What's with that?" making Superman defensive and self conscious. Levity!

This reminds me of a movie I saw in the 90s, Rosie O'Donnell slimmed down for the role but she needed to do re-shoots and she admitted she gained like 40lbs after. It's hilarious to watch, she enters a room slim and exits heavier.

Perhaps Alfred was referring to the 'stache at the end of the JL trailer?

                Was it "Exit to Eden"?

Why not give Superman the beard? Just add a digital beard. Probably easier to do than to digitally erase a stache. He can have the mullet AND the beard. Look just like that awesome JL episode "Hereafter".

I think they should tape his mustache down for filming. Or us a prosthetic upper lip to hide it.

The perfect solution is to give Batman an Allan Moore beard.
