KHANNNNN coming back to theaters

    Yeah he struggled with an injury to his back during the filming of a Western ( a sadly common malady in the 1950s).

    If you've ever watched Fantasy Island keenly (and I have) it's painfully obvious RM had a great contract. All the exposition at the beginning is filmed separately (sometimes on a sound stage) and Mr Roarke basically appears in the beginning, middle and end for the most part. He was probably on set two days a week while the guest stars do most of the heavy lifting.

      As the show got more popular, you saw Tattoo and Julie get more involved in plots.

        Actually I didn't know about the walker either. I knew he limped badly. He could barely get in and out of that red vehicle they sometimes used on Fantasy Island, and it was made to get in and out easily. Must have been particularly hard on a former dancer to be so immobilized. Shatner referred to that as well.

        And I'll add that at almost 90, Shatner looks good. He's the last of the big 60's TV icons still around.
