Black Boots Wanted - Female FTC

    Black Boots Wanted - Female FTC

    I am in Canada.

    I ordered a pair of $3 black boots from FTC (well, Classic TV Toys), had them sent to my parents' house in the US because FTC shipping to Canada is crazy, then had them sent to me from the US with some other stuff my parents were sending up.

    So I get the boots, and one of them is completely solid on the inside.
    Like it melted and filled in and then hardened.

    So now I have an FTC Isis figure with no boots.
    And the hassle of going through FTC to resolve this probably isn't worth the $3, even if it is worth the principle of good customer service.

    So I am hoping someone here has an extra pair of short black female boots, like the ones FTC mego-repro Batgirl and Wonder Woman wear.
    Let me know if you can help me out!

    Probably not a big help, but I have an extra pair of Uhrua boots, just in the case you need a last resort
    just something to keep in mind.

      Again, HOW HARD IS IT TO CHECK STUFF BEFORE YOU SHIP THEM FTC?!?!?

      FWIW, I have issues with them on like every order since January.
      If Doc's prices matched more closely to FTC's....sigh...but I digress....
      Email them through the Order page on their website....hopefully they'll make it right,
      without hassle. Send pictures with your email, I find that helps too.....

          It's a shame since they could be knocking things out of the park!
          But they seem a bit lax in the quality control department.

          I'll take a picture and email them.
          If they want to send me a new set of boots to my folks' place in the US, I'd be ok with that.
          But if they want me to send back the ones I received, it seems like it's not worth the expense.

            I guess you could let them know and send a pic of the boot, proving your not lying.
            it shouldn't be a big issue especially if your a past customer and they can simply send
            another pair to your parents house.

              I tried, but I can't get a decent picture of the inside of an all black boot.
              I did send a message on their website this morning, just to let them know about the issue.
              I'm probably outside the window of time for returns.
              Still, if they could send me just 1 boot, that would be great.
              Or if they could credit me the $3 to purchase another pair, that would be ok too.
              I'm not holding my breath though, and like I said, for $3 it's not a major loss, other than Isis still needs boots.
              But I do hope they at least acknowledge the issue, since they're responsible for the products they sell.
              Might as well let them know I had a problem so it hopefully doesn't happen again to someone else.

                I ordered a pair of glove hands from CTVT and they forgot to include the pegs to attach them to the arms. I didn't find this until over a month after I ordered and sent them an email. It didn't take them long to send the pegs out free of charge, so it's definitely worth trying. The worst they can say is no, right?

                But no Isis boots? I ordered CTVT's Isis repro items including the Isis boots and was very happy with them.

                  UPDATE: They replied and are sending out replacements!!

                  And like Moxen said, they are sending free of charge, at least as far as I can tell, and they did not ask me to send anything back.
                  They sent like a one sentence response without any punctuation, LOL, but they said they'd send replacements.
                  I'm happy... optimistic they'll send a good boot this time!
