Joan Lee, former British hat model. She had a stroke earlier in the week and it finally claimed her life. Very sad news. Condolences and prayers for peace go out to Stan, his family, friends and many millions of fans worldwide. I hope he doesn't follow too closely in her wake, but being married 69 years is a huge loss to deal with. Think we could consider a Mego Board Condolence Card if we can find out where to send it?

I was thinking about this earlier. A loss like that, after such a long life together, can leave a huge hole that just takes down the one left behind.

So sorry to hear this. I know Stan often said she pushed him to try to do comics HIS way before throwing in the towel, hence the troubled and argumentative heroes of the Fantastic Four.
