Here's an unusual one ... I never knew the Blue Swede version of Hooked On A Feeling was not the original (Ooga- Ooga- Ooga- Chacka) version.

Below song came out 2 years before Swede's

Although this would probably considered non PC today, I've always loved "Indian Reservation" by Paul Revere & The Raiders. It's one of my favorite summer memories:

"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I've loved this song since I was a child, I always thought the title was "Cherokee Nation."

          Some great songs posted here.

You're right about that, it happens all the time in politics and the entertainment industry. Child actors get exploited and then turn to vices in their early adulthood.

I am unfamiliar with Jonathan King he must've been more well known in England but after a wiki bio read through he sounds like a total creep.

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

IDK, I'm fairly certain it's "still okay" to acknowledge the mistreatment of Native American and First Nation people.

There's nothing offensive in that song that I'm aware of.
