What's our some forgotten older songs?

Hitchin-a-ride was a big hit in the early 70's and doesn't get replayed because it encourages the dangerous practice of Hitchhiking.

Treat her like a lady is another that I only hear every blue moon.

Anyhow which classics would you like to hear more often?

This song preceded George Harrison's "Something." I mention that because James was the first artist the Beatles signed to Apple records. This song was on the album he recorded for Apple in 1968. He recorded it in between the White Album sessions.

Does anyone remember a song, that is probably at least 35 years old and perhaps a country song, that talks of a golden hen?

Was that the song you were looking for ?

If not, the only other song I can think of with I Feel Fine in the lyrics is Dragging the Line

Now you've got me thinking of some pop gems that WERE hits, but are never played on "oldies" radio. These have really great instrumental arrangements. Seems that a lot of the neoclassical beauty of pop backing tracks has long been forgotten in music these days.
