I think they look pretty good! They've changed some from the preview, and as far as Gene's expression is concerned, I think it's an improvement.
I'll just need to find someone who can feather Peters hair! HAHA!
If they're smart, they'll save Dynasty for a few months until plenty of people have ordered Destroyer. Otherwise, people like me might choose one or the other instead of both.
I'm going to sound nit-picky but I'm a KISS fan as far back as 76 and,... Okay, never mind my fandom, let me just give my opinion on these figures.
Gene looks fine.
The only flaw that I can see is that they added scales to the back of his heels.
Very minor complaint.
His hair looks MUCH better than it has on the previous figures.
It's a good looking figure, IMO. ERKISS_Destroyer8in_LOOSE_Demon.jpg
Ace is probably the second best figure in this series.
I don't care for they way that his hair is cut in the back BUT it is the back (after all) and it won't be seen when displayed.
I also wish that they would have made his belt and the chest piece out of rubber or plastic rather than cloth. ERKISS_Destroyer8in_LOOSE_Spaceman.jpg
Peter,... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT HAIR?
It reminds me of Lilly Munster.
I don't think that there will be any hope in fixing it and it's too bad because he's my favorite member of the band.
The face itself looks good but that hair,... ERKISS_Destroyer8in_LOOSE_Catman.jpg
Gene looks pretty good (the backs of his boots bother me too though), don't care for the rest. I'm surprised that his hair actually looks decent, as IMO the vast majority of the KISS repros have had really wonky hair that makes them look stupid. I don't know why Mego was able to do such a great job on the hair on their KISS figures while nearly 40 years later, no one can figure out how to do it properly anymore.
After getting mine the other day I have a few minor gripes.
Gene - Chest armor, reused from Monster line . . Not the same as the Destroyer armor, no studs on the back of his outfit, No Bat wings and the boots are a tad large.
Paul - the detail on the costume isn't great, this costume seems lose compared to the others. no neck piece
Peter - all in all not bad, the cross necklace would have been a nice touch
Ace - I too agree that this would have been awesome if the belt and chest piece would have been made of rubber.
again, these are minor things . . . . doesn't ruin anything for me. Hoping Dynasty isn't far behind. Jimmy's also looking for the Alive figures if anyone has an extra set.
Now that I have these in hand, I think that they look better than the photos.
The hair can be puffed out with just your fingers.
The biggest problem that I'm having is that their boots (except for Peter's) seem to be made of a soft rubber and it makes it hard for them to stand on their own.

Is the platform part of the boot hollow? I had to stuff some styrofoam into my ALIVE! Ace boots because his foot sunk all the way to the bottom of the platform.
Thinking that if they are hollow, some stuffing might make them more solid.
It does feel as if they are hollow.
I was able to get them all to stand except for Paul.
Paul is actually leaning up against Peter. kissdolls 007.jpg kissdolls002.jpg
I did a review of the figures. I spoke about what I see wring with these figures as well as adding in problems that other people have told me about. Take a look at the video if you have time. Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdwy...uqsdl5w03c010c
