    Neca POTA Taylor, new tailor...

I really liked the Heston sculpt, but hated the PJs Neca put him in.

I started from scratch, with a stiffer fabric. Gave him zippered pockets (Chest, trousers, sleeves). I copied his original logos, but resized them a bit to match the movie version. He has a collar that can be closed with a mini buckle, but Chuck prefers it open.

The photos were a bit rushed, hope you can still make everything out...

Pretty cool... Much better choice for the fabric, who knows what NECA was thinking with their choice...

            Nice work!

The China factory botched the fabric on the NECA Taylor; it was openly discussed when the figure was released.

They botched more than the fabric. It looks like they took a rough preliminary sketch and copied that. You could hardly speak of a jacket, they ignored the design of the jacket, the pockets, just about everything.Which is a shame, because the sculpt is so great.

I wouldn't say the original outfit was terrible (companies have done way worse at 1:9 scale), but this is a tremendous improvement. He looks great.
