    Brainiac

    Brainiac:

Broke down and got this one despite the oversized noggin, which normally is a deal breaker for me, because Brainiac was my most wanted villain back in the day. The head is just as oversized as it looks and is extremely squishy. Oh, and it is also a very loose bobble-head. AND it has the same deformed look as their Luthor. All that aside, the body is solid and the suit is nicely tailored and fits well. The black lines on his head are just painted on but the "electrodes" are tiny metallic looking pieces glued on which give a nice three dimensional image. I'll swap the head out some day, but for now it is nice to have that long ago hole in my collection filled.

Maybe at this point the answer is for FTC to go to a 9-inch scale?

If FTC went to 9-inch, I'm afraid the heads would go to 12-inch scale

Mine is in the mail, but if I saw that giant head I wouldn't have ordered it. That look ridiculous.

The costume looks great! The head looks great! Too bad it's so far out of scale. I was hoping I could squint and it'd be passable, like the slightly oversize SF Batman noggin, but... nope. What a disappointment for one of my most wanted characters.

That would be a perfect figure if the head sculpt wasn't 3X bigger than it needed to be. Such a shame. 2 steps forward, 3 back.

you know I don't complain much on these boards, but the oversize head issue and bobble head issue has been a subject for a long time now and has been brought up many times so FTC has to be aware, they truly need to address it.

What sucks is, this isn't overly nitpicking stuff (which lots are notorious for) this is ruining really good figures for things that could easily be addressed. It's just silly on FTC's part.

Big and flat. Wow. Could not bring themselves to fix the size issue with the old Luthor head and instead just roll with it.

Sometimes I read posts where some guys are angry over the head sizes and to me, they don't look too bad.
However, I can definitely see it with this figure.
I don't collect Superman but I'm feeling a little bad for those of you that do.

I hope this is the Super Friends version because they need a new head anyway for classic
version (and while their at it) a new head for classic Bizarro too. They put out
different versions of Mxyptlk and Mary Marvel

I emailed FTC this morning to ask what they're doing about these large heads. This one seems really bad.
