is this the one on the end of the Superman-Aquaman hour dvd, directed by ANDY MANGELS??? If so, he did a kick *** job and told the WHOLE story in such a short time and it is one of the BEST documentaries I have ever seen in my life.

What a neat glimpse into the company and the people who made some of my favorite stuff as a kid. I had kind of aged out of cartoons by the time "He-Man" came along, but I was certainly aware of how big it was. Didn't realize JMS and Paul Dini had worked on it. I knew Filmation more for "Archie" , "Fat Albert", "Groovy Goolies", "Star Trek: TAS". It's a pretty impressive listing of what they made that I enjoyed through the cartoon watching years. The earlier DC stuff was before my time, but when cable came along, there was "Bozo" on WGN and I can remember watching before school mainly because they were running the shorts from the 60s "Superman" and "Aquaman" shows that Filmation did. I remembered enough from those to recognize Bob Hasting's voice as Commissioner Gordon when BTAS came along.

I thought it was interesting when the lady was talking about being on the clock and how odd it seemed for creatives to be regimented in that way. Definitely would be strange today and probably wouldn't even be considered an option.
