Adam West passes at age 88...

Wow. I just read this and I'm totally floored. This is a passing that may touch at the heart of our community here even moreso than the passage of Leonard Nimoy. Who among us has not watched BATMAN?

Glad to read he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

Rest In Peace, Mr. West. Condolences and prayers to your family, friends and many, many, many fans...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Yep. His passing is one that will be felt. Been a rough couple of years as far as the heavyweights from our childhood favorites passing away.

RIP, Mr. West and thanks for all of the great memories.

Met him in the late 90's .... Very sharp wit as apposed to his mainstream persona.

Besides Batman and Family Guy loved him in Robinson Crusoe On Mars.

I'm glad he managed to live past his typecasting and become appreciated again, he had a wonderful career and life.

Sad news. Got to briefly meet him at Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo in 2012. Unlike some of the other celebrities, he seemed to be having a nice time interacting with the fans.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

Aw, Adam West! He was on Kevin Smiths Hollywood Babble-on not too long ago and he was sharp as a tack.
