All inclusive "War for the Planet of the Apes" thread

With "War/POTA" opening in a little more than a month, I thought I'd start an all inclusive thread for links to stories about the film, viewers comments (once it's opened) and anything else pertaining to the film...

To start things off, I am posting this link, which some might find interesting:

Loved Matt Reeves previous two ventures into "Apes" territory and this one looks like it will be another terrific film. With what he's done for POTA, I'm anxiously awaiting to see what he does with everyone's favorite Caped Crusader...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

The ape wearing a blue vest in the last trailer made me smile. I hope the current movies eventually lead to Taylor landing on the Planet of The Apes and and the apes evolve to resemble the originals over time.

^^ Fun clip… looks to be a trip through the Forbidden Zone on the way to the Human Zoo.

Here's a book release that kinda flew under the radar. Not only is it a super overview of the vintage Topps cards series, but includes four new cards in the back for the new movies.

                  That's awesome!

I have flipped through the "Mars Attacks", "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" books in this Topps series. These are neat books and I really ought to pick them up off of Amazon.

I have that book, as well as the Star Trek and all three Star Wars books. I can't recommend them enough. I would really love to see a Six Million Dollar Man book done similarly, but I think those cards were made by Donruss, rather than Topps, so it's unlikely it'll be made unless the publisher branches out.

Reviews are starting to come in:

                            rottentomatoes.com/m/war_for_the_planet_of_the_apes/

Like the apes it depicts, the technology behind the 'Planet of the Apes' prequels has evolved to act more human than the human characters.
