    Stop Motion Animation Exhibition

I'm *involved* in this incredible exhibition and special event series. The objects assembled from several private collections and the gracious SPFX experts and historians participating ensure this is a once in a lifetime happening.

The show opens next Saturday and is followed by a whole lotta fun. There's even a custom Mego among the toy selections in the exhibit!

If you live in northern California or Nevada, or are traveling through the Bay Area or region, stop by & introduce yourself. For more info: http://atthegrand.org/IntheGalleries

Besides King Kong...The Valley of Gawangi was my favorite. I LOVE the T-Rex design.

Definitely sounds like an event worth visiting, but alas, it's about 2,300 miles too far for me!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

To spend time with an original Willis O'Brien creation is beyond inspiring! While I stopped being star-struck working with famous folks a long time ago, I still get the wild rush of creative mojo in the presence of great art and super charged objects. The on-going install has been quite the adventure.

Come on over Hec; it's not a bad drive from Oakland outside of commuter traffic hours, and it would be great to meet you!

It's a matter of scheduling...it all depends if our caregiver is here on those dates...as mom needs someone with her at all times.

I'd like to make it to at least one exhibit...the Kong one looks like the big one...
