The Top Ten Coolest 1970s Wonder Woman Merchandise

The Top Ten Coolest 1970s Wonder Woman Merchandise

The 1970s were a good time for female heroes, between Jaime Sommers, The Angels, Police Woman and Diana Prince, sisters were kicking butt like never before.

Wonder Woman was not only on prime time but a Saturday morning fixture with "The Super Friends", this combined with her comic title made her very popular with licensors in the 1970s.

Here are ten of our favorite pieces of Wonder Woman merchandise.

Two items I think should have been on your list are the Joint-Action Wonder Woman cardboard figure and the Colorforms set.

Great list! Cindy has long coveted that Remco Utility Belt. I've seen versions of it in yellow plastic, so it looks like there may be a variant?

Love your #1 choice! I agree, that should never go out of production. For a character so connected to kids identifying with her, the role play set should always be available for a healthy backyard childhood.

There is a similar set out now in the DC Super Hero Girls line. The bracelets make a "clanking" sound. It's really nicely done.

They were on the original idea list but for one reason or another didn't make the cut.

The Our Wars joint action figure entry couldn't not be a joke about the packaging choice there, I'm not made of stone.

When I was a kid, I had a Wonder Woman swimsuit. For whatever reason, I can find a pic on Google. It was a really popular item, b/c up to that point (around 1976), there hadn't been any novelty swimsuits for girls.
