New Universal Collection Blu-rays...Dracula and the Mummy

Universal has released two more complete collection Blu-ray sets...Dracula and the Mummy.

If you are a fan of the classic Universal Monsters you need these in your collection!

The main films are reissues from previous releases, but all of the sequels are presented here for the first time, restored to pristine condition.

Dracula's Daughter, Son of Dracula, The Mummy's Hand, Mummy's Tomb, Mummy's Ghost, and Mummy's Curse have had
every speck of dirt, dust, scratches, etc. removed, and the soundtracks cleaned up with almost no hissing or popping.

I doubt these films ever looked this good, even during their original release.

At $25-30 these sets are a steal. Averaging $5 or less per film.

I have the big Universal set, but I love a lot of the sequels, so I need to pick these up, even though I have the DVD Legacy Sets. Some of the discs in those sets are problematic due to the double-sided nature. Thanks for the heads up!

It's a bit annoying that they repeat a lot of films on each. I will now have like 5 copies of Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein. But no matter. Not owning these is like turning in your horror geek card.

I have the Legacy sets too, but not on Blu-ray so I might grab the Mummy collection, did they already make Frankenstein and the original Godzilla on Blu-ray?

These sound awesome. Do they include any of those cool documentary features of past versions?

Oh yeah...everything. They're loaded with hours of documentaries.
