* When I re-watched the entire series recently, I remembered Spock's Brain being more enjoyable despite its bad rap. But this time around, I just couldn't get into it. Conversely, I remembered Elaan of Troyius being worse; I found it wasn't as bad, but still tough to get through.

I'm currently watching TOS in chronological order for the FIRST TIME! Almost done with Season 1, some of the episodes so far have been amazing.
So far I've really enjoyed:
What are Little Girls Made of?
This Side of Paradise
Errand of Mercy
Dagger of the Mind brought me to tears*
*I suffered a brain injury in 2010 and several parts of that episode depicted some of the horrors I lived through so accurately (despite several corny parts) that it made me pretty emotional.

Menagerie was extremely disappointing, I fast forwarded through all "the cage" re-cap parts cuz it was really annoying. More plot and less recap and that would have been an amazing 2 part episode.

Still have several more episodes to go! Watching TOS is the most effective way to get my family to leave me alone; husband can't handle the ship noises and my kids say it "looks so fake." lol

I love that there was a statue of the salt vampire in the Squire of Gothos episode.

Errand of Mercy is one my favorites. It's hard to rewatch after the big reveal at the end.
