Motorized Dinosaur Model Kits from the 1970s?

Looking for info on what I remember to be motorized Dino Model kits from the 70s.
I recall getting one as a kid and not knowing how to put it together. An adult friend was kind enough to help me.
Anyone have any knowledge of who made them?

The skeleton type models? I can remember some that were just bones.

Per the great Aurora Prehistoric Scenes site (from a member here), there were motorized kits from Bandai in the '70s. I had a Dimetrodon.

No skeletons, Zoids, etc......Might have been the Bandai.....There were no T Rex's so I had to settle for an Iguanodon.

            There was a T rex.

There were 8 kits in the line.
Really soft on detail, but they fit amazingly well.
The method of securing the moving parts leaves something to be desired.
But they are fun, and a nice distraction from more serious projects.

              ^Thanks, I couldn't link your site.

How are these price-wise compared to Aurora? (I'm interested in the Kresge non-moto versions.)

Yep, those are the ones! Thanks....I knew there was a T-Rex, but the store, Two Guys, were sold out of the T-Rex. Me being a kid, thought the Iguanodon was "close-enough"

The box art on those is gorgeous...man they don't make 'em like that anymore!

I had one of these Bandai kits (in fact I posted the very same message a while back here or on the HobbyTalk forum asking the same question, who made them, photos, etc.)

Same for me when I was a kid too. That was the only one I owned as a child.

Never really followed the non-moto versions.
The motorized ones usually turn up regularly in the 40-60 range, but if you are patient you can get some open box ones for under $30.

At least that is what I usually hold out for. I like them, but not enough to spend serious money on them.
I have too many other model kit wants to spend like that.
(same philosophy for the Revell Endangered Species kits)
