yeah but like i said it was a buy now with offers
i set up a buy now activated the allow buyers to make an offer
someone made an offer and i went to see what it was... the buyers id was scrambled

i declined the offer and that was that, then the item ended.
this week the same thing happened again only when i went into the offer details the id was full and i was able to click on it and ask the potential buyer a question, i did so and managed to secure a deal via good communication with them - they had not hit the buy now, they had made the simular offer
so i found it all rather odd but it went in my favour in the end so alls good![]()
I've haven't heard of that yet. Maybe someone complained about it and Ebay realized that it was not a good way to communicate and removed the hiding.
