Oh man! Those El Santo and Mil Mascaras He-Man style wrestlers are amazing!
Expectation is the death of discovery.

Lost treasures of the Mexico streets! Over time I learned there's two waves of Mexican street bootlegs; a bunch of eclectic stuff in the 80s, then bootlegs of bootlegs (often more elaborately painted/adorned but poorer quality casts/plastics) in the 90s.

Exciting, but exhaustive just watching this… and ffs, can someone just keep the camera in one place for more than a few moments!?! So much to see.

Wow, exciting stuff! There is something oddly charming about Mexican bootlegs.

I'm pretty sure those are He-Man birds (Zoar maybe?).

I noticed those Hawkmen too! Given the challenge of the wings, it seems an odd choice to branch out and create their own version (as opposed to say, the He-Man styled lucha libre figures). But I would love to someday see more detailed pics of those figures here at the Museum.

A lot of the Mexican bootleg stuff looks better than some of the licensed North America stuff.

That was really fun to watch, I'd love to dig through all that stuff, although my knowledge of Mexican bootleg toys is very minimal.

Cool video! Madhunter Videos are worth checking out they even have english subs on later videos. Love the Mexico bootlegs! I am amazed by the amount of stuff he was sorting through! Can you imagine the heat? the dust? Toy hunting at it's finest!
