    Very cool!

Yeah, The Master, to embrace the Ninja craze. It might be something on the cheesy side now, but it didn't matter in the 80's when there was so much love for Ninja movies, and everything Ninja related.

I think I just talked myself into watching The Octagon again, ha!,ha!

Carnivale on HBO. Only lasted two seasons. Came out a decade before its time, I have little doubt it would be a huge hit today.

Since I am such a massive "Three's Company" fan, I have to go with "The Ropers." Even though the show was really not that good, Norman Fell, Audra Lindley, and Jeffrey Tambor definitely were! Norman Fell stated in later years that his biggest mistake ever was leaving a show that was ranked # 1 (Three's Company) at the time! When Johnny Carson interviewed him, Carson said it best, "are you out of your mind?"

Voyagers! It aired on NBC from 1982 to 1983. It was a great series. I remember being sad that it went away.

From Wikipedia: Phineas Bogg (Jon-Erik Hexum) was one of a society of time travelers called Voyagers who, with the help of a young boy named Jeffrey Jones (played by Meeno Peluce) from 1982, used a hand-held device called an Omni (which looked much like a large pocket watch) to travel in time and ensured that history unfolded as we know it.

Can't remember for sure, but was Viper only one season? It was a Knight Rider knock off, but it was good!

I'd repost a lot of the ones that have already been listed, but the one I don't see is a remake of Dark Shadows around 1991. I really liked that.

Man, how on earth could I have forgotten two of my all time faves; WONDERFALLS and DEAD LIKE ME. Both of them were really good and way too short a lifespan...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

It seems like every show I liked as a kid went off the air fast -- Space: 1999, the McCallum The Invisible Man, Man From Atlantis, Quark, Fantastic Journey, Probe (the Hugh O'Brien one from the 70s), The Bearcats, Battlestar Galactica, Sword of Justice, A Man Called Sloane, The Ellery Queen Mysteries, Wizards and Warriors, Captain Power, Sable, Cliffhangers!, Banacek, The Magician . . .

The trend seems to have continued into my adulthood, with Chaos from a few years ago, Buddy Faro, Earth II, Mann & Machine, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, and The Player just last season.
