How would you describe a decade in one word?

Here's a little game I thought up while on a long drive. How would you describe a decade (era) using only one word & category? First thing that comes to mind ( you can give a brief explanation if you want).
For example, describe each era by COLOR:

'30s- Brass (Art Deco design)
'40s- Olive (makes me think of the military & WW2)
'50s- Pink (Cadillacs )
'60s- Yellow (it was sunshine, baby!)
'70s- Rust (the color of everyone's kitchens)
'80s- Teal (a popular color for design on everything)


You guys take a turn with COLOR and then we'll change the category!

60's hot pink (go-go dancers)
70's avocado (appliances)
80's neon orange (everything from leg warmers to toys)
