    Cardboard and Vinyl charm

Can't say I'm a huge fan of either S.W.A.T or Emergency! but those vinyl & cardboard playsets are awesome and I totally want them.

    That old timey computer....sigh....

The SWAT playset is a favorite of mine. I had one as a kid, and I loved having a police station to take my supervillains to jail... only to have them escape and send my superheroes back into action.

I have never seen the Emergency playset. But that is pretty darn fantastic as well.

My three kids would have a blast playing with that play set right now. Wish I could snag one at a flea market.

I've never come across any of these, but I would love the Emergency! Set.

I think the first time I saw the SWAT I was at a toyshow and I was so smitten I almost bought it.

It made zero sense for me to do so, I've never watched a whole episode of the show.

I had the SWAT play set, I believe I sold it to another member here. The emergency set is great, could be re-purposed for Ghostbusters too!

I think I had the garage one and completely forgot about it until your post. I loved those weird cars.

I think with some of the great talent right here in the museum, folks can make there own cardboard play sets of just about anything they want its already been done.

If you have the talent and the time, it could be profitable.

The S.W.A.T playset is really close to the Enterprise Bridge.

I really liked the TARDIS set that I used to own, or maybe it was cardboard Space 1999, either way, it became a makeshift Star Trek alien spaceship control center.

I've been experimenting with simple backdrops/play sets in 3.75" scale using corrugated plastic that is used for yard signs. Results so far are promising and I hope to move up to 6" or even 8" scale.
