Guardians of the Galaxy II review by Jeremy Jahns

Jeremy doesn't go big time into the plot specifics, but there may be enough spoiler material in the scope of his review (since he discusses the general outline of the story) to bother some looking for a spoiler free entry to the movie. Enter at your own discretion.

Geez----could someone get this guy his ADD meds before his head explodes? LOL! I appreciate his review and both his pros and cons and comparisons between GOTG and GOTG V2 are naturally inevitable, but I think you have to TRY to go into a film like this with a more open mind and consider that, especially with a director like James Gunn, he's not going to basically want to make the same movie all over again.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

^^^ Agreed. I think critics have a hard time enjoying movies if they go in comparing as opposed to just watching and letting the film come to them on its own merits.

I know what you mean...I also can't stand that 'Max Headroom' type of Reviews...Pet Peeve :(

I also agree that Folks/Reviewers need to 'Chillax' and 'try' to let the Movie evolve on it's own, but you also can't ignore drawing comparisons altogether.

Having said that...Still excited to see it and judge on my own

I don't know this guy but last night a watched a compilation of so called "Nerd Videos" on Youtube mainly clips from Collider and IGN.

Much of it was such highly polished turds, these gorgeous people wearing Star Wars shirts calling themselves geeks and raving about everything. I felt like I was watching the Home Shopping Network, it all just felt like a commercial. How are these things so popular?

Sounds like you need to watch some of RLM's Nerd Crew to get the taste out of your mouth
