I planning to get up early on the 29th and wait in line at a local electronics chain (Fred Meyers) for the SNES mini. Worked for me for the Switch earlier this year.

Nintendo is bringing back the NES classic this summer and they are going to put out more of the SNES classic too because of demand . The story is in the News this week

Back in April, when Nintendo discontinued the hot ticket NES Classic Edition after just six months on the market, it prompted us to suggest in a headline that "Nintendo hates money." Someone at Nintendo must have figured out that money is good, though, because Nintendo announced this morning that the $60 plug-and-play retro console will be coming back to retailers "next summer."

I'm never going to buy anything from Nintendo again. I'm sure they're shaking in their boots.

My local Target will have 2018 Nes on Friday 6-29-18 but there will be a line where they will give out tickets before store opens. They started selling extra controllers already
that I could not find the first time

I got an alert from Best Buy that they go on sale Friday, but I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up.

Target had over 50 this morning( 1 per customer) with a ticket at the door. I picked one up
and there was 30 or so people in line. Target was very organized with tickets and Security.

On my lunch hour I decided to swing by my local Walmart out here in small town Oklahoma to see if I could luck into one. I figured I could at least tell myself I tried instead of sitting around wondering about it and low and behold, I was able to snag one. They never had any the last go around so I was pleasantly surprised.

Had time to play a little "Punch Out" while I ate some left over pizza before I had to come back.
