Van broken into last night

Should I be more insulted that they broke in, or that they took a pass on all my CDs? Deep Purple Live bootleg, VH, Collin Haye, CSN&Y.......Duran Duran....Concrete Blond.....Sabbath. Really disappointed - I thought I had something in there for everyone! Some of my neighbors weren't as fortunate. I also keep a Mego torso in my glove box in case I am somewhere and need to match color. (You'd be surprised) Still there:-)

MY old neighbourhood was plagued with these kinds of things. I remember they took my beer but left all my thumb drives and camera cards.

Evidently your van thieves have little taste in music! LOL! Sabbath, Purple and CSN&Y is music I would've purloined. Thieves were probably teenagers who have ZERO appreciation of classic music! Still, sorry for whatever they did abscond with.

I once had someone break into a car and steal a cheeeeeaaap car stereo and the change I kept in the console, but they left a $100 graphing calculator.

Ive only had my car "broken into" (it was unlocked) once. They took the metal ashtray with about $2.00 in change. It was an Audi A4 so it would probably cost me $60 for another ashtray. I left it as is.
CD's are hard to fence these days, nobody's buying. Thankfully they'll usually leave them.

Years ago cooking for a living to put myself through school, most of kitchen and dish staff I trained were ex-cons, addicts and petty criminals (ala Kitchen Confidential) including one very active car stereo thief. One of the many things I learned during that life experience was that thieves generally have bad taste in music; hence the reason they left your awesome Concrete Blonde CD…*viva la Johnette!

That sucks but yea thieves do have some of the worst taste in music so at least you still got your stuff..

You won't believe it...but I saw the one time that it was and couldn't believe it. Truly weird/crazy.
