Sounds like there are some intriguing episodes coming up. A couple in particular sound great.
I just hope the new season focus is more on the Doctor than his companion this time.

Those episodes all have some intriguing stuff going on. Especially looking forward to the return of The Ice Warriors, the Mondasian Cybermen and Missy. Hope that Peter Capaldi gets to go out on a super high note!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I fell asleep to the Who marathon on BBC America last night. The promos looked hardcore.

First episode of the new season was actually pretty good....
Thankfully, the new companion wasn't irritating... Good introductory story for her and she has a good spunky attitude.
              Capaldi was great as always.
Bodes well for the rest of the season.

I just got BBC America back after, what, 6 years? Binge watching all week-end and looking forward to the premiere.

I wish I could see classic Who again, too...

Glad to hear the first episode of the long-awaited Season Ten was a good one. I like what I've seen of Bill so far; yes, she definitely seems way more fun than Clara was; I get a little bit of a Rose Tyler vibe off of what I've seen so far. Only 3hours 'till we see it here stateside! Woot! Woot!

Yeah, it was much better than hoped. Really looking forward to this season.

First episode was not bad at all. I think I could easily get used to the new companions, they have a good, fresh vibe.
It's a decent start to the new season, and I like his new "digs".

And if you think Capaldi's Doctor has no soft spot, well, you'll see...

Really enjoyed the first episode and I instantly liked Pearl's character Bill Potts. Looking forward to seeing where her character goes.

Episode was ok but still had trouble understanding the Doctor and even the new companion.

                          Is it just me ?

I have absolutely no trouble understanding any classic episodes

The new companion does have a strong accent (and I did lose a word here and there), but Capaldi toned down his a long time ago. No trouble understanding him at all.

It was fun, but the Dalek bit was perhaps their most superfluous cameo I've seen.

I like Bill, but I hope this doesn't become HER season. We've had enough of that with Clara.
