I am so on board for this! Oddly, I had spoke with artist Aaron Lopresti last fall in Baltimore about this character, and he told me it wasn't happening. I guess just not for him. Mandrake is perfect for this though. And it's a sequel series, not a reboot.

Looks cool... Always been a big fan of the character, one of my favourite Hammer pictures, so will be checking this out.

Is this the first in the Hammer Comics line? I have a friend that is a HUGE!!! Hammer fan. Not a toy collector, but has every Distinctive Dummies Hammer figure made...and he would definitely want this line of comics. Any info on this, besides what you've already posted here, would be gladly appreciated.

Side note...yeah, Tom Mandrake is perfect for this title.

They released a Mummy series so far. I think it's only at #3, but it's a new storyline, not based on the movie. Kronos is the 1st movie based series.

Ever since the first time I saw this movie and read about it, I've been disappointed the series it was meant to kick off never materialized. The comic may solve that.

I ordered the "Hammer Glamour" variants of the series (I need not say why!), but I was the only one that ordered the book at all. My lcs didn't even order any for the shelf...a perfect example of not knowing (or caring) about anything that hasn't come out in the last 3 years or so. I had to explain what Hammer was. Last week I had to explain to them who Bob Ross was because they sold out of the POP figures and didn't know why. Freakin' kids!
Midtown sold out online of all covers.

Got all 3 covers...now I have to see which 2 I want to keep. The other is for a friend of mine that is HUGE into Hammer. I basically want the series cause I am a big Tom Mandrake fan.
