They've been teasing a new member next season who is an established DC character that does not originally come from the comics. I think they are going to more fully try to integrate the Supergirl Universe into the Arrowverse, so maybe LIVEWIRE? Going the rehab villain route certainly worked for Heat Wave.
Another possibility? Jimmy Olsen as the Guardian. Currently an unnecessary extra wheel on Supergirl, no longer a love interest, useless as a boss, not part of the DEO, could fit in with the Legends?

      I started season two.

About the only main thing that I don't like in the series is when they travel back in time and say things and future phrases like "___is my jam" and the characters in the past seem to understand what they are saying.

They did mention a nanotech pill that translates things in and out of the appropriate language. If it makes you feel better, you could say the pill catches those phrases and rewords them. But once they went all Civil War zombies and such, they pretty much embraced the delightful absurdity... and I find the historical sloppiness is just part of the fun.

That would also provide a nice explanation for why Batman eventually has his own juvenile sidekick.

And why Alfred had always supported the idea even though Batman opposed it traditionally.

I liken Legends to an 80s comic, it's entertaining, light and not to be taken too seriously. So stuff like this? Water off a duck's back.

So... not sure if this thread allows spoilers, but... do you think *** is really gone? And was I the only one who gave a sigh of relief at the announcement?

I read an interview with the showrunner and he said *** will return next year, but more as a guest star hero not a team member. And no you were not alone!
