    Finally scored a Mego King Kong!

    A long time hole in my model kit collection has finally been filled!

    Of course he will be getting the deluxe build treatment!

                Man, I had cases of these in the 1980s from a warehouse find, always wished I'd kept at least one because it's such a cool kit.

                        Congrats on the score. These kits used to be pretty cheap as many builders didn't like them because the different scales.
                        (Kong is one scale, the buildings are a different scale, and the plane is yet another scale)
                        After 9/11 though, the prices went through the roof because the WTC portion of the kit.

                        Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
