    Game of Thrones: Season 7

I'm super chapped having to wait an extra three months for the premiere, but I think it will be worth it..

I was complaining about this to my GoT buddy (he gives me his HBO Go password so I can watch it and discuss it with him lol) about the same issue and he said that the weather was really bad in one of the countries they were filming in and had to shut down for like 3 weeks. It's whatever country they film the Wall scenes in. And I bet they all had a sh1t ton of White Walkers and such so then they have to do all that post production CGi stuff.
Still not happy about it, but at least they have a decent reason. And maybe it bought George RR Martin some time so he could write just a LITTLE faster?!

Yeah, they started filming a month later than usual just so they could capture some of that harsh winter weather that they need, but turns out it was a little too harsh for part of it..

        Go figure! LOL
I can't imagine, it must be so hella cold during regular filming!
Emily Clarke, Maisie Williams and the Kings Landing Folk probably get to like hit the beach on their days off! Well, I dunno if Croatia (where they film King's Landing) is near water? Geography has always been a big weakness of mine.

Icelandic winter to harsh for them....lol
The Icelandic winter is relatively mild for its latitude. The southerly lowlands of the island average around 0 °C (32 °F) in winter, while the Highlands of Iceland tend to average around −10 °C (14 °F). The lowest temperatures in the northern part of the island range from around −25 to −30 °C (−13 to −22 °F).

What would they ever do if they came here....lol
Manitoba,Canada - Overnight lows as low as −40 °C (−40 °F) occur on several days each winter, and the temperature may remain below −18 °C (0 °F) for weeks. Southern Manitoba (including Winnipeg), falls into the humid continental climate zone.

Iceland is where Manitobans go for summer vacations...lol

“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

This series doesn't feel like a TV show, it feels like a bunch of epic movies...

                            Well, it didn't disappoint.

I loved the cold open at the Twins ("wait, is this a flashback..."). Lots of great character moments with Sansa, Cersei, and the Hound. Pleasantly surprised by the brief appearance of Jorah. They had to reintroduce a bunch of plot points and set the season's action in motion (I suspect a lot of our characters will be meeting in Dragonstone soon)... but even with all the heavy lifting they had to get out of the way, I thought it was a good episode. So excited it is back!

I was disappointed by the wayy too long and disgusting bit of Sam cleaning up everyone's various excrements

..But other than that, I'm right with you
