BBTS has this on pre order but when is wave one Catwoman, Batgirl, Mr. Freeze, King Tut
and Bookworm available ? These are more detailed and have better articulation than
their funko pop figures. I hope they do the Batcopter and Batgirl's cycle since these are
small and perfect for vehicles.
I'm probably going to sell all my FTC and Mattel stuff and just go this direction... I tend to collect more complete lines combined with space saving... this seems to hit all that and more.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
The FTC line seems to be winding down, but the last several releases haven't wowed me. This line looks pretty consistent across the board already, so I'm ready to dive in and let this take care of my '66 figure fix.
It may sound weird, but I can't decide if I like these or not? Batman looks a bit out of shape, and the Mr. Freezes
sort of look that way too, although it's nice to see the Wallach version, I also think a mask would have been better for Catwoman jmo.
Batgirl is definitely the winner of this set, she looks the best to me.
^There's a chunkiness to them for sure. I think this is Funko realizing "Retro" doesn't mean "ugly Happy Meal cast-off" and doing a throwback feel right. These kind of remind me of the Playmates Trek figiures, only smaller.
