That is so strange. When I told my Dad about Chuck Berry's passing he thought I said Baris and we had a big discussion about him. Sad news.

Oh man, that's upsetting although 87 is a good life.

Chuck is a colourful guy, he wrote the song Pallisades Park (which the Ramones covered!) and of course, claimed to be a CIA hitman all along. If you haven't read "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" do so. It's amazing. I think I was the first guy in line for that movie.

Also, Chuck's "Gong Show Movie" is an incredibly strange train wreck, it has to be seen to be believed.

Aww...my family loved The Gong Show. RIP Chuck. Thanks for making us laugh. Say Hi to "Gene, Gene The Dancing Machine" for us.

I remember seeing the Gong Show Movie in the theatre

Besides JP Morgan's boobies the rest of the film was horrible

              RIP

It's so weird, when I was a kid I always got them mixed up (I'm sure at one point I probably thought they were the same person) so now hearing about them dying days apart is just freaky!

Around the time Confessions came out in the movies, the book was re-released. Chuck did a book signing in NYC, where he spoke about the movie/book. He hinted that the CIA story might not be true. When it came around to the signing part, he was great and I took a picture with him. He seemed so happy that people were still interested. It was so great to see him in person. R.I.P. Chuck.
